The Thor Heyerdahl Institutes Board Member, Liv Arnesen, teams up with Kon-Tiki2:
"While I was stuck in high school, Liv led the first unsupported woman's crossing of the Greenland Ice Cap. A few years later, Liv made international headlines by becoming the first woman in the world to ski solo and unsupported to the South Pole - a 50-day expedition of some 745 miles (1,200 km). I'm very proud that Liv has joined our crew on Kon-Tiki2.
